I'm starting this to see how everyone else sees the league playing out. I'll start by giving going down each teams conference schedule and predicting the probable outcomes for each team.
Texas 8-1 Has a good shot of running the table in the league. Difficult games in order of possible loss are at TCU, at Bay, KSU and OU. Think they only lose once. 80% chance for title game.
OU 8-1 The league did OU a huge favor in the schedule. Play all four incoming schools (plus WV and ISU) and miss TT and KSU. Will lose to Texas. Only other possible teams that could beat OU is TCU and UCF and they get both of them in Norman. Think both KSU and TT with better teams than OU but the schedule is just too Charmin soft to screw up. 70% chance of title game.
KSU 7-2 See the game at Texas as a loss. Tough games include @Tech, TCU, UCF and Baylor. Probably will win 3 of these. Will need some help to make title game. 20% chance of title game.
Tech 7-2 For now have Tech losing at Texas . Difficult games in order of toughness KSU, @ Baylor and TCU. Last year Tech won a ton of close games. Think they lose one of these. 20% chance title game.
Baylor 6-3 Slated for losses against Texas, at UCF, and at KSU. Tough games include only @TCU and Tech. Think they win at least two of these five games . 5% chance at title game.
UCF 6-3 Loses @KSU, @OU, and @TT. Tough games include Baylor and @KU. Think they win both of these games 5% chance at title game
Teams with minimal chances of Arlington
TCU--4-5 Losses to @KSU, @TT, TEXAS, BAYLOR, and OU. Schedule really bad for TCU (See below).
WV--3-6 Call me crazy but I see WV winning 3 games this year. OSU, BYU, and Cincinnati (all at home).
Houston--3-6 Will beat WV, Cincinnati, and OSU (all at home).
KU--2-7 Will beat BYU and @OSU, Will lose last game at Cincinnati. FB back to normal in Larryville.
BYU--2-7 Will beat Cinci and ISU at home.
Cinci--2-7 Will beat ISU and KU at home. Final game against KU to keep out of the basement solo.
OSU 2-7--Think that the turnover at OSU and the way they cratered at the end of 22 are indicators of a program in deep trouble. See OSU beating Cinci and BYU at home.
ISU 2-7-- Had a really tough time predicting this team. Thought they might have had an ok year before the gambling problems surfaced. Question becomes how much of the team is available and for how long. Still playing in Ames is hard regardless. Think they beat both KU and OSU at home.
This shows just important the schedule is for getting to Arlington. Just adding up the projected wins for opponent.
