I said when I had more information about this situation I would share. Well, here it is exclusive to GoPowercat subscribers.
For those out of the loop:
On June 17, City College of San Francisco defensive tackle Tevita Fehoko alleged a new offer from K-State on his Twitter page. (@Yahboy_vita98)
Well, apparently not only was the offer received but a signed letter of intent was then quickly returned back to Manhattan. This means Fehoko has become the fourth post-Signing Day addition for K-State's 2017 class, joining Joe Davies, Jahron McPherson, and Daron Bowles.
According to CCSF head coach Jimmy Collins, Fehoko has been recruited throughout the spring by Mo Latimore and the Wildcats have long held interest in the defensive lineman. However, there were academic concerns which led K-State to wait quietly and patiently for results.
On May 22, Fehoko got the good news he'd been hoping for in regards to scores and by May 26, he was officially a junior college graduate. Paperwork with K-State soon followed and, vuala, a new commit was done.
Collins says Fehoko should "be on campus soon".
Finally reached by text message today, Fehoko himself says he's "just waiting to fly out" and join the program.
I'm not positive, but from what I can gather he appears to be a 3x2 (redshirt available).
