The last time that the Aggies defeated a Power 5 football program was Tennessee in double overtime on October 8th at College Station. And did you know that the VOLS had SEVEN turnovers in that game (Tennessee had almost 700 yards of offense).

The Aggies lost their last 4 SEC games, including games against Ole Miss (5&7) and Miss State (5&7). Hard to beleive that ESPN had convinced the playoff committee to put the Aggies in the play-off a few weeks back.

A&M's biggest win on the season was against Auburn on September 17.
I would say Arkansas was a good win back in September, but Mizzery beat Arkansas.
I would say that UCLA was a good win to open their season, but the Bruins finished the season 4 & 8.

K-State won 5 of their last 6 games (a heart breaking loss to Okie State).

That's the good news.

The bad news, 4 weeks has a way of squelching momentum that a team may have at the end of the season ... and provides an opportunity for a team to get back on track.

On a positive note: 4 weeks will give Ertz's throwing shoulder/arm time to get healthy... yeah baby !!
The aggies game plan will be stop the run first, stop the run second, stop the run third... the CATS will likely need Ertz to throw the ball around with some success to back the safeties up.

GO STATE !!
