KEYS TO THE GAME
This game a season ago did not go well for the cats, they had guys going in the portal, specifically in the secondary the team had blown up and along with injuries had guys playing out of position and of course no Skylar. A year later and the tables have turned around, Texas is the one having all sorts of problems going on and if you think they aren't/won't distract them I don't know what to tell you. Back on topic to the keys, the biggest one will be the offensive line they gotta protect whoever is the starter and they should be able to as the Texas defensive line does not blow many plays up in the backfield and they don't get many sacks either, they have 19 as a team. Locking down Xavier Worthy or at least limiting him will be key as he is one of the best WRs in the country. Texas is very good at running the ball so the defensive line will need to eat blocks up and let the LBs and everyone else get the tackles. The cats were very good against Abram Smith last week they held him to 2.2 yards per carry for 46 yards on 21 carries. The cats are a top 3-4 defense in the league I don't think they will struggle against this Texas offense, especially without Bijan Robinson who had a field day last season against the cats. Some things the cats need to do better if they wanna win is 3rd down offense they were 4/13 and the pass protection will need to be better. On defense they struggled getting off the field as Baylor was 7/16 on 3rd down and 3/5 on 4th down, however they did not break as Baylor ran 83 offensive plays almost 30 more than the cats.
