I don't feel like doing work this morning, so I went out and looked at the last 5 years in the Big 12 to compare statistically how teams have performed. What really sticks out is the massive inconsistency. Outside of KU no team has been consistently great, or even that good. In fact, the highest AVERAGE finish of any other team has been 4th.
Two very different paths here. Baylor has been very consistent (4,5,2,6,4) while WVU has flown all over (4,2,2,2,10) but both paths get you to top tier in the league over time
As a disclaimer, I'm a bit of a pumper, but I'm providing no opinions in this post. Just thought I'd throw out the stats, see what people think. Some of this really surprised me. As a side note, I HATE that Rivals doesn't have a "Table" feature.
