are laying in the weeds and ready to pounce on the Pokes.

First of all, WOW did Okie State benefit from some bad calls today or what.
Texas had 128 yards worth of penalties (Okie State had 40... the Pokes got 5 first downs off penalites).

Then Texas turns around and hands the game to Okie State (poor Texas, 2 weeks in a row..ha).
Despite benefiting from bad calls and being handed 3 points at the end of the game, the Pokes scored the lowest number of points against Texas this season (including Rice...ha).

Okie State's starting QB was banged up today and did not look very good. He air mailed a couple of passes that were intercepted. Personally, I hope he is the starting QB for the Pokes next Saturday.

Okie State's starting running back left the game with an injury (looked like a thigh bruise).

Don't get me wrong, it was a big win for the Pokes. The Pokes had 100 yards more of offense, so it wasn't like Texas dominated and Okie State just got lucky (well, they did get lucky to a point).
I have a feeling that the Okie State players will be celebrating the win over Texas a little longer than normal ; - )

I have a very good feeling about next Saturday's game. I believe the CATS are going to knock Okie State right in the mouth and be more physical .... more focused... better prepared. Look for some new wrinkles in the offense that will be tailored toward Hubener's strengths & Justin Silmon.

I stand by my prediction that K-State will defeat Okie State.

K-State - 31
Okie State - 20
