Here is what I know headed into the game.
1) Malik Knowles is once again considered a game-time decision. That is what he was described as headed into the Baylor game. He may try to give it a go in pregame and see how it feels.
2) Jordon Brown is out. There's a chance he could play vs OU but more than likely I can see his return being against KU.
3) I had heard some whispers earlier in the week that it was possible that Blaise Gammon could miss this game, but as we get closer to kick, it sounds like he'll play. At the same time, I was told that it'd be possible for Sammy Wheeler to begin to see the field more even without that bit of news.
4) As many have heard by now, true freshman CB Kenyon Reed is leaving the K-State football program. I don't think it was necessarily his choice.
5) Coach Klieman mentioned Keenan Garber as someone that could play today. I don't have anything on it more than that. I'll just say that what he says typically does pan out.
6) I do think, as Messingham gushed about, that we'll see even more Joe Ervin today at RB.
7) The personnel has been pretty evident week in and week out. One thing to monitor is if Logan Wilson sees the field today. He's right at 4 games, as is Jax Dineen. Maybe Jax is someone to watch, too. I think he's nursing a little injury now as well.
8) It'll also be interesting to see if Cody Fletcher plays. He suited up for the first time all year against Baylor but did not see action.
