Pretty cool. Wouldn't require a tab that's for sure. Much like a drone though these may fly too high for commercial transportation. How would air safety be controlled & what about restroom breaks (pee cup)? Beware of the flying turd! Otherwise, WOW!

I could fly directly to Manhattan from my house in D/FW, well almost. It would be close, it might make it.
Roughly 2.5 hours, versus 7.5 hours driving. That would knock off 5 hours of travel to do other things. Even if I did fall short I could drive in the rest of the way.
