We had Shane Southwell on the coaching hot board but that's probably not the internal hire, if it is internal.
The name gaining a significant amount of buzz the last 24 hours is Jermaine Henderson. He was ops guy Bruce brought in a couple of years ago, helps with the team scouts all the time and is one of their bigger on-campus recruiting sellers.
Henderson is a coaching vet despite still being in his 40s. All of his time has been spent at mid-majors, though, to be fair. Also, his connection to the Weber/Painter branch is his time under Paul Lusk at Missouri State.
