in state talent, we cannot compete with programs that have longstanding winning traditions and play for national championships. I doubt KSU will ever have that "it" factor like a USC or OSU or Clemson or Oklahoma, etc. Those are the facts. So, it is imperative that our new coach and his staff have the same ability Snyder et al had for coaching. I do, however, firmly believe that the current staff underestimates its ability to recruit more quality talent. They need to raise the bar, not as far as they did in 2003 where they struck out everywhere, but high enough that they have a realistic chance to land multiple 4* football players year in and year out.
