There have been a couple times this year it felt like the team was in a "must win" situation. Oklahoma State was probably the biggest inflection point to date and we got the win we needed.

The three-game win streak against OU, TCU, and Baylor gave the team life and some margin for error. Losing to KU isn't a disaster (though the game performance itself was) - but it does feel to me like we're nearing another inflection point.

Is our offensive performance the last two games a low point from which we recover, or the new normal? Do we have the energy (both physically and mentally) to rebound? Will Stokes breathe new life into the team again?

While no one game is a must-win yet, the next four as a group are pretty big: @WVU, @Texas, TTU, and @OSU is a tough stretch. It feels like 2-2 is pretty necessary to keep some momentum and stay in the mix. 0-4 would be a five game losing streak and put us at 5-8 going into our final five which includes @OU and @TCU.

There is still time for this season to be successful. There's still time for it to turn into a disaster. The way the team comes back from last night's performance will dictate it. My biggest concern is our ability to physically handle the upcoming stretch, and starting @WVU isn't the way to recover physically...here's hoping we catch an unexpected win, as I don't like our chances @WVU, @Texas or with TTU. And if we get beat up in those games, @OSU is going to be tougher than it should be, too.
