Bill Snyder gave his team off Monday night and Tuesday’s practice was shorter than usual. The week usually built around meetings and practice has relaxed a little bit. And perhaps that’s good. The grind of eight-straight games can wear on a guy, particularly within a Kansas State program that prides itself on being among the hardest-working squads in the nation.
“Mentally, it was a long stretch going from our Week 2 bye until now,” redshirt freshman running back Alex Barnes said, “so it’s going to be good to get some rest and refresh a little bit.”
The Wildcats plan to be plenty charged. They’ll have to be.
