Unfortunately the current President of K-State is so timid that the he would sacrifice both in order to placate the idolaters of political correctness. Where is the tradition found in academe of questioning authority? Standing up for principle? If I was a faculty member at K-State, I'd be worried what is going to come down the pike. Can you imagine what President Schultz would say if some faculty member claimed in his or her classroom that "sisterhood is powerful" or "Saint Ronald Reagan should have been impeached for Iran-Contra?" What he did with the Pride is beneath the dignity of a great land grant institution.
