Everyone I speak with is done with all of this heat. Seems like all anybody talks about is how hot and miserable it has been.
Farmers: how are your corn, soybeans, milo doing?
Others: Is your grass still alive and how much are you having to water?
According to forecasts, the high pressure system (heat dome) will be shifting to the west U.S. and cooler weather (maybe moisture) will be moving in the next few days.
This desert we call Kansas could use a drink. Kansas City got too much the other night, but the rest of the state not so much.
Just to bring K-State sports into this, I also feel sorry for those guys in camp workouts right now. I can't imagine what they're going through.
