Just sitting here thinking about how this years linebackers are going to be very inexperienced. The group is full of options and most have high hopes for them. It got me thinking about how I had the same opinion of our 2015 wide receivers, and we all remember how that worked out.
Had just lost two studs in Sexton and Lockett. (Lee and Moore)
Walk on Cody Cook was impressing the year before, but was that really the guy you wanted as your number one?(Tanking)
Burton was a young guy with some athletic ability but hadn't really shown anything impressive yet. (Sizelove)
Klien had been around and was apparently killing it in practice, but hadn't shown anything in a game (Kirby)
Andre Davis was suppose to be a hidden gem juco guy....he did almost nothing (Patton)
Heath was a young guy with a lot of promise but fizzled out over the season (Hughes, Sullivan)
Zuber was doing good in practice but red shirting (Green)
