Very glad the game started at 11am. Otherwise I would have probably left at half to make the 3 1/2 hour drive home. Instead, I got all the way from Row 26 to Row 33 before ISU's first fumble. Fortunately, there were plenty of empty seats to move it to for the finish.

Mike Moore took over for our defense in the second half. That kid was all over the field.

Saw our 'jailbreak' blitz one time....when ISU had third and long late....and it worked perfectly. Hope we see it again the next two weeks.

Joe Hubener is the worst running QB ever at avoiding big hits. That kid just gets pummeled every time he runs the ball. I can't imagine how sore he must be on Sundays.

Had a nice discussion with my seat 'neighbors' (when we were down 35-14 at half) about how this season will impact season ticket renewals for next year. At that point we both agreed an 8%-10% drop was possible if we finished 1-2 or 0-3.

Our band's halftime show was incredible. Go find it on Youtube or somewhere if you missed it.

Went with my oldest son who teaches/coaches HS in the KC area. We both agreed this game will be a lifetime memory for both of us just because of the improbability of the win. That alone made the day great.
