- What a game. K-State knocks off No. 7 Oklahoma to win two games in a row and the third conference win matching their conference win total from a season ago.

- The defense was there today and held Oklahoma to 39% shooting from the field and 20% from behind the arc (4/20). K-State shot it slightly better from 3pt range and it was just enough. Even with Reaves scoring 25 points K-State gets it done.

- Mike McGuril's three triples in a row in a minute span starting at the 3:33 mark in the second really put Oklahoma away. Two really good games in a row for McGuirl means two wins in a row for the Wildcats. He has needed to be a key contributor all year and it finally started clicking for him. He said after the game he wishes he could

- 4th career double-double for DaJuan Gordon with 11 points and 10 rebounds (7 pts in 1st half, 7 rebs in 2nd half). Major stuff from him in his first start since coming back from injury.

- Davion Bradford is a problem for defenses when he can actyally stay on the floor. He avoided foul trouble and finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds in 32 minutes. He was for sure a key for this dub.

- Luke Kasubke could not find the bottom of the net no matter how many times he tried from deep. In 14 minutes he missed all 5 of his 3pt attempts. I like that he didn't lose confidence in his shot even though it wasn't falling. I still believe in his future and still think he can find his shot. It wasn't pretty for sure from him today but at least it didn't change the outcome of the game. He just needs to keep piling on the expereince would love to see at least one double-digit scoring game from him before the season ends with some solid efficiency.

- K-State was big time from the free throw line going 11/13. They out rebounded the Sooners 38-33. K-State won second chance points 16-9 and points off turnovers 15-11.

- Was for sure the most enjoyable game to watch from the Wildcats all year. Even in a grind it out defensive battle, K-State made an ugly game look fun to watch. They did their job on both ends and there isn't much else to say about the game.

- This puts things into an interesting perspective. This win was very difficult win to achieve. I genuinely believe OU is a top 3 team in the league and thought there was no way they get this win. Weber truly has OU and Kruger's number and proved that even in this really bad season, Weber still has his number.

- In my opinion, this definitely changes the 'optics' just a touch. We have already shared that we think Weber will be back next season based on the most current rumblings we’ve been hearing so I don't really mean those kinds of optics. But more so it makes optics for the future a touch more optimistic. It give hope that this team with what they have truly can compete with some of the best teams in the league. It took forever and some of the most embarrassing losses of the year earlier in the season, but they have come a looonnnnggg way. This team never gave up and have truly come over the proverbial hump and got a big win. Obviously it does nothing for post-season chances this year and it still is a very poor season still but they are getting closer to the 5 conference wins that I thought should have been the pre-season expectations. Earlier in the season I thought there was no doubt they finish the season with a single win over Iowa State and that would be it. But now they do this. It for sure changes things at least a little.

- It is Bruce Weber's 10th career top 10 win in Bramlage to tie Tex Winter with the most in Manhattan. Also is Weber's 27th career top 25 win at K-State.
