I have from a very reliable source that Delton bummed up his knee in the 4th quarter against TCU.
Skylar has been getting the vast majority of the snaps in practice this week.

Does not mean Skylar is going to start, but there's a chance for those of you that would like to see it.

OU's biggest weakness is pass defense and nobody expects K-State to test OU's secondary this Saturday... but what if Skylar starts and comes out winging the ball all over the place and our WRs actually catch some passes (yep, a lot of "IFs").
OU is most definitely going to be stacking the box to make K-State pass, which could play right into K-State's hands if Skylar started and came out throwing.
It gives me a sliver of hope.

The other thing that my source made a point to say... Skylar is very well liked by his teammates and Skylar is itching for the opportunity to play.

Now I know it would probably be asking too much ... to believe Skylar could play at a high level in his first start (against OU), but every year, we see freshmen QBs (some true freshmen) start for teams and play at a high level. The freshman QB at Texas isn't doing too bad.

And just maybe Snyder's quick one word reply (NO) when asked if he considered playing Skylar in his post game press conference was a bit of a smoke screen (yeah, I know I'm reaching here).

My source is A rated. But again, just because Alex has been limited in practice, doesn't mean he will not start. But I can't lie, I get excited thinking about Skylar making a surprise start.
