Earlier this week I had little hope that K-State could pull off an upset in Norman.
Mostly because of a blundering + stumbling + out of sync K-State offense.

But as the week unfolded, I kept asking myself, just how good is OU?

Yes, OU beat TCU in Ft Worth.
This just in, TCU is a shell of the team they were a year ago.
Heck, South Dakota State gave TCU trouble. Though the Frogs obviously took the birds for granted, ku should have beaten TCU (now that’s bad).

Yes, OU beat Texas in Dallas.
Did you know that Texas had a lead on OU in the 3rd quarter?
Believing that Texas is good, is like believing those X-ray glasses in the back of comic books when I was a kid, really worked.
Texas has their HUGE over-time win over ND.
ND lost at home to Duke? OUCH
CAL put 50 points on Texas (that’s the most points Cal has scored this season, minus the 51 they scored against Hawaii).
Okie State clobbered the Horns (and Okie State is above average at best).

Hhhhmmm, so what exactly has OU done to put fear in one’s heart?

Ohio State is a very good team and the Buckeyes spanked OU on their home field.
OU lost to Houston, a good team (sorry, I can’t say really good… the Cougars did lose to Navy).

Yes, K-State tripped on their dicks at Morgantown (should be 4 & 1) and K-State’s offense has looked dysfunctional, BUT maybe this is the week that things start to come together.

Maybe OU is kind of like Texas this season … more about the name than the team.

BRING ON THE CATS !
