If it is, it's time to put on our big boy pants and start acting like any major business with their life on the line would. There is no more being a day late and a dollar short. That shit needs to end now.

So, here’s what does need to happen.

Bill, we love you, respect you, and are eternally grateful for the program you have built. You have met your stated goal of returning stability for your second stint. It’s time now to hand the program over. No more ambiguous timetable. No more, “I’ll reassess things after the season”. No more Sean. It’s time now to gracefully step aside by announcing your retirement so the path can be cleared for the future. Now.

Gene Taylor. This is your moment to do the job we hired you for and it’s time to get out ahead of this train, because it is rolling. IF active conversations are advancing with Venables and he is emerging as a top target at Tennessee, which it appears he is, you need to get to work and HARD. Time to get the money people at K-State that have been behind bringing Brent home to K-State the last two years and get them behind it again. Make it happen.

That is all.
