Its hard to express how frustrating it was to watch that offense tonight. It barely bested the pathetic performance against Tulsa and once again we had no answer when 3s didn't fall. Granted, we were pretty pathetic on 2s as well, so maybe it didn't matter much. On a night when we didn't turn it over much at all and were decent on the boards, that shooting display from what was the league's best shooting team coming in was an absolute embarrassment.

Wade continues to play and make shots. Barry had a nice run early to get us back into the game, but after that it was pretty bad. His offensive rating is one of the worst of his career and hopefully this swoon for him isn't long lasting. K-State's success was sparked by Barry and Wade playing well together, and obviously Wade can't do it by himself. Then their is Sneed who is having a similar drop off and is now 4 for his last 21 from 3. His body language and frustration was apparent everywhere tonight. Finally, Cartier was fine, but is coming back down to earth a bit and Mawien regressed back to the mean. I hope that most can see that this team needs Stokes back in a big way.

Still, 5-4 in the league at the midway point isn't a killer. However, this team will have to go win some tough road games to make up for 2 home losses already and they probably can't absorb another one of those.
