My 9 year old niece in her KU cheerleading uniform, and 7 year old nephew in a blue jersey were very impressed by the 2 fans in section 5 or 6 (between the player benches), midway up, who turned around to face them during sandstorm and chanted fu** KU while flying double birds in the air. Their dad is a KU alum, and their mother is from Florida, attending her first ever athletic event at K-State. Can guarantee she'll never be back.

I had always thought that a##hole fans were the rare exception at K-State. After spending time on this board last week and seeing the majority on this board seem to think it is ok to chant profanity at a college basketball game, wonder if these dick fans are much more common than I had thought in Manhattan.

Who seriously thinks this is ok, and faults our admins for trying to stop it? I love seeing that song played at our games, and the students look awesome on tv, but many of our fans are just not mature enough to be trusted with nice things.
