Kwho didn't have to play the Number 1 seed Purdue at the elite 8 in 1988 because WE took them out.
Does that make their championship any less meaningful? If I remember right they had several higher seeds cleared out of their way that year. No apologies, set 'em up, mow 'em down. GO CATS!
