Just got a text from a friend who has a 16 year old son. It said two of his teammates (16/17) were arrested over the weekend for shooting another kid because of a dispute they'd had earlier in the week (there are some details available if you google Ardmore, OK and want to read). Some details I can't share specifically because it's an ongoing investigation, but it brings me to this thought.
What an awesome place we have here, where we can all come together in one place to share our love/hate with all things in life and all things KSU related.
It's important for people to keep things in perspective here, and to remember that it's just words and it's just opinions. There should be no reason for anyone to lose their shit over some argument here where someone did/didn't agree with something.
You don't have to like everyone, you don't have to agree with everyone. But as long as you're here, you need to learn to tolerate everyone.
It's easy to get caught up in the back and forth, but keep things in perspective. Tolerate other people. You don't have to like them, but you have to tolerate them, because it's their right to be as bat-shit crazy here as they want to be.
Not sure what my point is specifically, but lets just remember that differing opinions aren't worth going nuts over. It's okay to disagree.
