Okay, guys....hang on, as you know my opinion is worth exactly what you are paying for it! ) How-ever, with all the hype that has gone into our team being very good, depth chart almost unending, and being led by a "mention" of Heisman Trophy candidate q-back, Saturday's Tulane game was not only difficult for me to watch, I was beyond disappointed. There were definitely bright spots, or we would not have won the game....period. I get quite tired of coaches (all of them) starting their post game interviews with "We just came out with a win (or loss) against a VERY good (whoever) team". So seldom do we hear that our team played poorly, was coached poorly, and made the other team look good. How excited I was, think most of us were, to have the impressive roster and be looking to beat the livin' socks off anyone with courage to show up. It's early, I know, and "we're gonna correct some things".....boy, I hope that is right. I live 'n breathe purple, looking forward to the improvements and a win over Arizona for starters!
