Here's the deal. I have a small animal practice in NW Johnson County with wonderful clients......and a wonderful associate (even though she is OSU grad) who is pregnant and due in very early May. I am also no kid. ( I graduated in 1971) The practice is now bigger than a two person practice and I have been looking for another associate, especially since my associate will be gone for two months when she delivers.
Why come here? Why not? People here are involved with their pets and there are a number of DVMs here who might know someone.
I want a doctor who understands and honors this philosophy outlined to me by Dr. Bob Taussig in my second year when he said "I practiced for 20 years in Iowa and in that time I never lied to a client." Well, I have practiced since 1971 and *I* have never lied to a client. I also seek the highest quality medicine for my patients. I have great staff and very excellent equipment.
