I think some are wrongly assuming that seeing additional guys enter the portal will equate to Klieman and company getting to go fishing in the portal for an upgrade. This belief is based on bad assumptions imo.
The problem is we're already going to use all 32 counters (25+7 bonus) without another transfer declaring.
The likely outcome of seeing a young QB or Malik announce their intent to transfer (as some have "wished" for) is we add more walk-ons to scholarship OR kick the counter-can down the road with more blueshirts (Warner and Howell situations).
The team we field in 2022 is maximized by holding onto every guy we can from the current roster.
