I see the young influx on players on the defensive side of the ball...Shelly, Newlan, Geary, Wood, Sizelove, Lee, and Prewitt. That is seven starters on defense for the next couple years who I think will improve and can be a solid foundation even though been frustrating at times
When I look at the offense not so much...Risner, Heath, Dimel and Solmon are the only ones who have gotten a significant amount of playing time from the younger classes. I know Reuter has played sparingly. It's really frustrating watching a terrible offense which consists of 4 SR OL, SR WRs in Cook, Klein and Davis. Just feels like a wasted year on offense when some of your potential QBs are injured/sick and can't gain experience, some of the recently signed OL in the past couple
classes are playing over Hayes and Kleinsorge who are below average. I realize you can't just burn a bunch of redshirts just for the sake of doing it but looks like it will be another rebuilding year next year on offense with a totally new OL and hopefully a QB other than Huebner.
