Few kids have caught my attention this year like Travis Pickert. Coming into the season, I'd always had him pegged as a tight end and, after watching him at the Rivals Camp Series, figured he'd be on the fence as a K-State offer type.
Watching him twice already this year though, there's no doubt in my mind he can play defensive end at the next level. He's an athletic freak who has really only been slowed by his own stamina (playing both ways until recently). I know K-State's class is already fine at defensive end, but this is one guy I sure hope the staff is giving a good, hard look at. Hate to see him end up at KU for instance.
