Spoke with Tre Bryant tonight about his recruiting process taking a detour.
Really tough to gauge what's on his mind. He denounces any idea that he's scared of the depth chart, playing time, future of the program, etc. but couldn't provide any feeling on where the Wildcats stood or how confident he is that his commitment will stick.
At some points it sounded like I was talking to a player who loves K-State and just wants to be sure he made the right choice. At other points it sounded like I was talking to a player looking for a way out.
The more teams that try to get involved, the more messy this could become.
