Just was curious how we faired as far as TV viewership. Alot of people might think KSU is not a good draw for TV ratings - but when we are decent, we draw a good TV audience. This is for 2014 (2015 wasn't as good) except for the bowl game with Arkie - which had very good ratings. Alot of this has to do with being on ESPN and not FX1. Auburn/KSU was the highest rated Thursday game in 2014. We had three games with a "2" or better and KSU/Baylor scored well in December in spite of being championship night.
For football/basketball perspective - KU/OU set an all time ratings bonanza at 1.9 for Big Monday. Typical Big Monday ratings might hit a 1.

Also, KSU was the 25th most watched CFB program in 2014

The point? As actual viewership becomes more important, these stats are more important. We really need to get the football program on track and maintain this kind of value. And this shows the value of a decent OOC game. KU has atrocious football value. If Bill decides this is his last year, we need to open up the checkbook to hire a great coach/recruiter.
