First, on opponent's in-bounds play, we leave the passer unguarded and try to have Wade double the receiver. Never works. We should have Wade cover the passer to make the in=bound pass more difficult.
Second, against the zone we run a player inside at the free throw line--a full 8 feet in front of the interior defender. We should run our guy at that defender and post up against him. This would make the pass inside much easier and give us a shot from 3 feet. The way it's run now, we almost never make a pass to the middle of the zone because we don't have this spacing right. We are too close to the defender up top to make that entry pass.
