Are two of the true freshman defensive players I can’t wait to see on the field next year. There have been a few instances that Duke really flashes high-major pass rushing production. This is a VERY new position for him. I think he was more of a safety/LB in high school when he played defense (mostly a wide receiver, I believe) so this is totally foreign to him but you can see potential there. What might he look like next season at 240-245 after bowl, Spring and Summer? Duke and Hubert could be a miserable (for the opposition) pass rushing duo next yr and Boom has been pretty steady.

Tyrone Lewis might have had my favorite film of the incoming players. I loved Garber’s film but from a defense perspective Lewis showed big play ability with big hits. And he is putting on the weight really well 180 by the end of summer. This is a kid who ran a 4.51 fat-timed 40 at a combine with an excellent pro agility and vertical. He was 160lbs in high school but hit like he was a 220lb LB. I expect Lewis to be a fixture in our secondary in the near future and a big playmaker.
