Another school who didn't meet expectations this year as players moving on as well. Thiis is not an isolated thing that occurs at KSU only.

University of Memphis sophomore forward Nick King and sophomore guard Pookie Powell will transfer, the school announced in a release this morning.
"Nick and Pookie both are fine young men and in good academic standing at the University," coach Josh Pastner said. "We support both players and wish them all the best."
King, a 6-foot-7 forward from East High School, was the Tigers' fifth-leading scorer (7.2 points per game) and fourth-leading rebounder (4.8 rebounds per game) this season. But after starting the Tigers' first five games last season, his minutes were reduced drastically by season's end, when he was playing a reserve power forward role.
King played in 28 games and made seven starts. He scored 368 points and grabbed 246 rebounds in his two-year career at Memphis.
Powell, who considered transferring last summer following a freshman season in which he sat out as a non-qualifier academically, played in 27 games and made 11 starts. He averaged 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists, and at point averaged 6.5 assists over six consecutive games as the Tigers' starting point guard. He is from Orlando.
King and Powell are expected to receive their releases from Pastner this morning and will be permitted to transfer to any school except another American Athletic Conference program. Both players will have to sit out a year if they transfer to another Division 1 school.
