1) The numbers have settled in and back up what the record shows; K-State and TCU are essentially tied at 6th in the league on both offense and defense when you compile the advanced stats. They are the 6th and 7th teams in the league with K-State winning a toss up game in Fort Worth.
2) K-State won 4 games in a row with decent offense and defense (both were performing better than now), but they were also winning TOs and field position by a substantial margin. I said at the time I was concerned if one or the other came back to normal, especially turnovers. K-State still is winning field position, but the gap with the rest of the league isn't a 7-8 yard advantage like it was at the time and more importantly the Wildcats have fallen to the bottom half of the league in the TO stats.
3) Baylor simply isn't a great team and this is a decent match up for K-State. The only offense worse in this league is Kansas and Baylor's defense is middle of the pack in this league. The game in Waco will be a good one and I think K-State will rebound and play well.
