My Thoughts
Texas is one of the best teams in the nation at shooting free throws and one of the best teams in the nation at limiting turnovers, while being one of the best teams at creating turnovers. Converting nearly half your team shots is pretty good too. Outside of Courtney Ramey, UT isn't too great at hitting 3s, some guys have some good percentages but not enough attempts to truly be concerned. Texas is also #1 in the nation in points per game allowed. If the cats can't play good defense they probably get blown out as I believe they do not have the offense to keep up, especially if the cats are without Nowell again. Texaas overall plays good defense and the cats overall do not play good offense, drawing fouls and getting to the line is probably their best bet. along with forcing them to take 3s as UT scores 31 points in the paint a game, the cats normally play good defense down low it'll be interesting to see who wins the battle in the paint, the winner down low while not turning the ball over probably wins. Limiting turnovers is important because UT forces 18.3 of them and gets nearly 21 points per game off turnovers. I always hope for a cats win but I just don't see it. Give me Texas 65 cats 60
