Oh wait, no I'm not. Having seen the drivel posted on this board and watching a number of debates (not to mention following the party's decline for several decades) this doesn't surprise me at all. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/13/o...re-than-others.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur
For those too lazy to link, here's the short of it:
The GOP is lying like crazy in their campaigns. Here are the rankings and percentage of statements that were rated and found to be at least mostly untrue by Politifact:
1. Carson 84%
2. Trump 76%
3. Cruz 66%
4. Santorum 55%
5. Fiorina 50%
6. Rubio 40%
7. Graham 34%
8. Christie 32%
9. Paul 32%
10. Biden 32%
11. Jeb 32%
12. Sanders 28%
13. Clinton 28%
14. Obama 26%
15. O'Malley 25%
Judging by who lies the most and who is top of the GOP polls, I'd say Republicans prefer candidates who lie to them. Seems to be validated by the citation reliance on Foxnews, Breitbart, WND, and the plethora of obscure blogs/websites.
