This may be way off base and a stupid post (wouldn't be my 1st), but Van Malone seems to be awfully busy with diversity meetings/lectures/Zoom meetings, etc. I think it is great for him to be such an advocate and leader, but is this cutting into his recruiting/coaching? Is he spreading himself too thin? He does not seem to be having that much of an impact on the recruiting trail which is sad.
