Though they are an upgrade over what Joe Hubener had to throw to last season, they remain drop-prone. If Byron Pringle holds onto a touchdown pass at West Virginia, K-State wins that game. Isaiah Zuber and Deante Burton are good for a combined three drops per game. Dominique Heath is the team’s only starting receiver to catch more than half his targets (12 of 22) this season. Pringle is 10 for 27, Burton is 9 for 18 and Zuber is 8 of 17.
Ertz needs to be better, but so does the entire offense.

I've never liked Burton as a WR. Too often he runs the wrong route even though this is his 5th year in the program. When he does run the right route, there is a good chance that he's not going to catch it anyway.
This position is something that has bothered me the last two years. Are the receivers just not very good, or are the DB's in this league really good? Week after week it appears that the KSU receivers just can not (or have a tough time) get open.
