His coach says he picked KU because they develop players. Some players go there and develop and some don't. Wiggins, Henry, Selby, Green, Selden, Ellis. None of these guys have really developed, but Self can sell that Wiggins and Henry were lottery picks. McLemore too. UK and KU are the same, they don't develop players, they recruit the highly rated players and some improve but many of them don't. Ellis and Selden were both projected draft picks and are now off the boards. Until Weber can get a player drafted he will lose the battles with the UK and KU's of the world no matter how nice our facilities are. If Vick wants a coach that develops players he should go to WSU with Marshall.
