If there was one team that got ripped off it was USC. They finished in 2nd place in the Pac-10, made the finals of the tournament, had 9 Q1 and Q2 wins, 7 road wins, and finished 4 games ABOVE Arizona State in the standings. Also had rpi in the mid-30's last I saw. USC, Louisville, and Okie State all missed the tourney - being punished by NCAA? You could argue about Louisville and OSU but to me there was no excuse to keep USC out of the tourney. Syracuse made it??
