Here's the latest on what I've gathered this morning on the Dalvin Warmack situation.

To fill some of you in who haven't heard, there were initial rumors that started stirring up over the weekend that Dalvin was going to transfer. I heard from Dalvin late last week about the topic and all he would say at that time was that it was something that was on his mind, but no decision had been made yet.

Yesterday, as I previously posted, Warmack was scheduled to sit down with Coach Snyder to discuss his future with the program, but I've learned this morning that meeting did not occur. No reasoning behind why, it just wasn't able to happen. The two do plan to meet soon though, I'd guess before the week is over because this is finals week after all.

Another important conversation did take place yesterday however - a long phone call between Dalvin and his mother.

I have no knowledge on the details or message of that chat, but what I do know is this:
Monday, Dalvin was 85-95% certain he was leaving Kansas State. After taking some time to talk with his mother and reflect on what was said, he is now at a 50/50 split.

We will see what comes of the one-on-one with Bill Snyder. Personally, I think it could go a long way in finalizing what route Dalvin decides to take. The more and more he seems to assess the situation at K-State, the more and more I think he realizes it will be much harder to leave than he originally assumed. I think he's starting to realize how invested he's become to the university and football program.

Until further notice, it sounds like Dalvin plans on taking some time to himself in hopes of truly finding what's right for him. No timetable for a choice but, again, I'd be surprised if it lingers much past next week considering the school year is basically complete.
