Was Texas Southern a "bad loss"?

Had a fellow Cat fan say this on Facebook...

"Us K-State fans would do ourselves a lot of good if we stopped calling the
Texas Southern game a "bad loss." Texas Southern is a tournament team.
Should K-State have won the game? Yes, absolutely but it certainly isn't
a bad loss."


I politely disagreed. It was a home loss, by two points, that an aspiring tournament team should be able to handle and pull out a win. To me, it was a bad loss. It surely doesn't feel like a good loss in the grand scheme of how this season went down. Would we be in the tournament, maybe it wouldn't be as bad, but looking back, yes, it was bad.
