right now and it's late in the second quarter.
At this point, Silmon had established himself as the "hot" rb and goes on to be the lead back for the rest of the day.
With just a few minutes left in the first half and up 10-3, Silmon breaks off a couple of big runs to get us out of the shadow of our goalpost. At that point, OC Dimel calls for a read option between Ertz and FB Dimel. Dimel runs for about 10 and then fumbles giving TCU great field position. TCU goes on to kick a field goal right before the half to make it 10-6. Now we all know how the game turned out, but if TCU comes out and scores on the first drive of the second half, it's a totally different ball game and it all would have turned on the fumble.
My question is, if Silmon had fumbled like Dimel did, would he have come right back in on the next series? Heck, would he have come back in the game at all?
