After back-up QB Tarvaris Jackson suffered an injury vs. the Broncos last weekend, an ankle sprain that will keep him out at least a few weeks, Seattle has opted to sign Jake Waters effective tomorrow.
Russell Wilson aside, Waters will now have the opportunity to battle only one other player at the position, R.J. Archer, for the right to be the Seahawks #2.
Though it may be asking a lot of Waters, Seattle could attempt to quickly throw the K-State QB in the mix with their second preseason action coming in just a few days.
The place and opponent? Friday night - Arrowhead Stadium - against the Kansas City Chiefs.
