Does anyone from Western Kansas or Western Nebraska have any experience with spider mites in irrigated corn? Here in North Central Kansas, crop scout thinks we have both Banks Grass and Spotted mites in some of the later corn, and they're well above the ear leaf now....even with the cooler temps lately. Corn that's already denting/dented I'm going to let be, unless mites start to kill the stalk. Field planted the 2nd week of May likely needs to be treated ASAP. What does a guy want to use? Comite? It's my understanding that we want to avoid killing mite predators.
