Went through the game tracker play by play to confirm what seemed was the case. Here is what we did on first down for each drive through part of the 3rd quarter (starting from the start of the game):

1. Loss of 2 yards
2. Gain of 4 yards
3. Loss of 5 yards
4. Loss of 1 yard
5. Gain of 4 yards
6. No gain.
7. Loss of 5 yards.
8. Gain of 22 yards (Warmack run)
9. Gain of 3 yards
10. Gain of 21 yards (Warmack run)
11. Gain of 5 yards
12. Gain of 1 yard
13. Gain of 7 yards
14. Gain of 41 yards (Warmack run)
15. Gain of 8 yards
16. Gain of 7 yards
17. Loss of 4 yards

So on our first 7 first downs, we either lost yards or had no gain 5 times — the full on Dimel Reverse Sex Panther offense, 70% of the time, it works not at all. And of course most of those were then part of 3 and out drives. We literally would have been better off lining up under center, dispensing with the check with me and letting our RB just ram it right into the line, or the having the Foundation calling each play in real time via online poll (and I awear to god we would have fewer delays of game and no worse results).

And then we finally get something going when we hand Warmack the ball with some continuity on some simple sweeps, as this board has suggested all year. Where has that been?

Don’t need to see anyone fired, but I’m going to lose my mind if they don’t at least relieve him of play calling duties for the last couple of games. Anything would be better than this.
