Okay, so he is a little goofy sometimes, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear him say some of the things he did such as:

• Getting the ball in the paint, collapsing the defense
• Finding other ways to score when the 3s aren’t falling
• Instead of telling the kids they need to execute better at half, giving them other things to try

Honestly there were several things I agreed with..

I’m just not sure he can coach them up, and that will always be a sticking point to me. But these other things he said are what I think made him a great assistant for Gene Keady at Purdue...
