Weber discusses upcoming season, says team was 3 or 4 possessions from postseason a year ago

Kansas State senior forward D.J. Johnson didn’t take too kindly to the Wildcats going a second straight year without reaching the postseason. K-State and TCU are the only two Big 12 Conference schools without an invite to a postseason tournament in each of the past two years. That’s the longest stretch for the Wildcats in a decade.

So, Johnson blew off the NCAA Tournament entirely.

“I didn’t watch,” Johnson said. “There’s a lot of motivation to get back. We struggled a little bit last year. There’s motivation to get back and to correct those errors that we made.”
