1) Oklahoma - The Sooners continue to roll. This week they won 56-14 over Tulane. Which is good enough to retain the #1 spot that they earned last week with their win over the Buckeyes.

2) Oklahoma St -They are a very close #2. They went on the road and beat Pitt this week 59-21. Rudolph passed for nearly 500 yards and 5 TDs. They had 4 receivers break the 100 yard mark.

3) TCU - The Frogs won the Iron Skillet again this year with a 56-36 win over the SMU Mustangs. The Horned Frogs were prone to periods of sloppy play, but always bounce back to take control. They were down 19-7 early in the second quarter, but responded with 3 Kenny Hill TD passes to give them the lead going into halftime. Undefeated with a convincing SEC road win from last week, the Frogs should not be taken lightly.

4) Texas Tech - I don't think the Red Raiders will hold this spot, but they are undefeated with a Win over another P5 school. Nobody else on the list can say that. They hung on late last night to beat ASU 52-45.

5) West Virginia - The Mountaineers destroyed FCS Delaware St. this week 59-16. There wasn't a whole lot that could be taken away from this game, imo. They had a 7 point loss in Week 1 on a neutral field against Va Tech. That is probably the best loss out of the remaining Big 12 teams.

6) Texas - Should a team move up with a loss? Normally I would say no, but the Horns looked pretty damn solid this week, taking #4 ranked USC into double overtime in the Coliseum. The loss at home to Maryland still lingers, and they are 1-2 on the season, but the defense looked impressive this week and they found new life at QB.

7) Kansas St - The offense was putrid this week in a road loss to Vandy, but the defense kept them in the game. They had many big plays reversed (2 TDs) by penalties and reviews. Vandy is a solid team and the game was on the road, but the KSU offense is going to have to improve to compete in the Big 12.

8) Iowa St. - Maybe they should be higher, but for now I am still in wait and see mode. They are 2-1 with their only loss coming to rival Iowa in overtime. They had a convincing road win this week against Akron.

9) Baylor - They held up better this week on the road at Duke then I expected only losing by 14.

10) Kansas - They are 0-2 against the MAC.
